Product Designer

About the position
We're looking for a creative problem solver with an engineering mindset who is ready to turn complex problem statements into AI-first user experiences.
What sets you apart
A portfolio that demonstrates exceptional visual design and UX thinking
Strong understanding of design systems and component-based design
Experience designing intuitive interfaces for AI-powered products, including handling uncertainty, creating feedback loops, and balancing automation with human oversight
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Comfort working in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments
Tooling and required skills
3-5 years experience designing cross-platform digital products
Mastery of Figma, with hands-on experience in interactive prototyping and reusable components
Strong visual design skills, with attention to typography, color, layout and purpose-driven detail
Working knowledge of product analytics tools and using insights to inform design
Proficiency with tools such as Adobe Illustrator or similar for asset creation
Familiarity with HTML & CSS limitations and how they influence design decisions
Experience with AI/ML product design is a strong plus
Responsibilities
Conduct user research to deeply understand user needs, pain points and behaviors
Perform competitor analysis and generate data-informed hypotheses using product analytics
Translate insights into comprehensive design solutions from wireframes to high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes
Design intuitive, thoughtful experiences for both standard and AI-powered features, incorporating feedback loops, handling uncertainty and balancing automation with human oversight
Develop and maintain design systems that support scalable product growth and complex enterprise functionality
Define or evolve or establish product architecture, whether starting from scratch or simplifying existing structures
Collaborate with engineering teams throughout the development cycle to ensure design intent is preserved and feasibility is considered
Iterate on designs based on user feedback, stakeholder input, and real-world usage
Communicate design decisions clearly, advocating for user needs while aligning with business goals
Take ownership of design quality, ensuring consistency, clarity, and purpose across all touchpoints

Locations
We're flexible with regards to remote work, but we do expect you to be at one of our offices at least 1 day per week for team cohesion.
