At its core, the platform aspires to become the vertical AI co-pilot for the Office of the CFO, enabling financial leaders, executive teams, and boards of directors to make informed decisions grounded in real-time, reliable data. systemzero is already serving several Fortune 500 companies today, just 6 months after launch, and is growing rapidly.

Challenge

The founders of systemzero came to us with a bold vision and an extensive wishlist. They needed a partner capable of translating their conceptual model into a scalable software platform. One that can evolve alongside their vision and become an indispensable tool for modern CFOs and their teams.

Solution

Beyond software, the project demanded a deep understanding of financial workflows, stakeholder dynamics, and strategic decision-making in growing companies. The platform needed to be robust, flexible, and intuitive for users ranging from analysts to board members.

An AI-powered summarization system, with human validation, delivers daily briefings to CFOs and stakeholders, highlighting key points. Data from various sources is cross-validated to detect discrepancies early, improving data integrity.

Approach

We joined forces with the systemzero founding team from day one, embarking on a structured discovery process to define a core MVP that lays a robust foundation for their future roadmap. We started building the absolute core of the application, and extending from there based on initial user feedback and new findings.

Through a series of deep-dive workshops, we mapped a set of core features, data flows, and user interactions. We crafted clickable prototypes to bring the concept to life and validate it with early stakeholders. In parallel, we defined a future-proof technical architecture designed to scale with the product’s ambition, prioritizing performance, security, and adaptability.

We build.

With a dedicated cross-functional team: a product manager, designers, and engineers, we began development of a modular platform architecture. The product’s core revolves around structured finance workflows and modular ways to update stakeholders on progress. A clean and modern UI ensures that anyone can engage with the platform with minimal onboarding, giving finance teams a powerful cockpit for data management & strategic planning.

Working as one product team with systemzero, we maintained an interactive and iterative collaboration. Daily check-ins, rapid prototyping, and open design reviews ensured alignment. We served as strategic sparring partners, challenging assumptions, proposing refinements, and prioritizing features for fast, quality-driven progress.
