Around two years ago, the Model Based System Testing (MBST) team within Siemens Digital Industry Software engaged us to support the development of a web interface for their simulation and testing platform.
Siemens needed a secure and reliable platform to support component-level testing that involves interactions between physical hardware and simulated models. Given the safety-critical nature of these tests, the solution had to adhere to strict internal processes and software quality standards to avoid introducing potential hazards.
We partnered with the MBST team to enhance their simulation platform by gradually introducing new functionality through a collaborative and long-term development effort. In parallel, we are aim to evaluate and refine their operational processes to mitigate development risks and ensure consistent delivery.
To align with Siemens' rigorous standards, we used their tooling to manage and trace software requirements throughout the development lifecycle. Our team committed to a regular on-site presence at the Siemens facility, enabling close collaboration with internal stakeholders, deeper integration with existing workflows, and a thorough understanding of the technical and organizational context.
"It is a great collaboration with the Siemens MBST team! Our on-site collaboration model allows us to work together closely and build a secure simulation platform meeting all rigurous quality standards."
